§ 01 — What it is
Luminous markings let a watch be read in the dark. Modern lume is Super-LumiNova — a photoluminescent pigment that charges from any light source and glows for hours, with no radioactivity and no harm to skin.

§ 04 — FAQ
Luminous watch questions
Super-LumiNova grade C3 (green) is the brightest standard photoluminescent pigment. BGW9 glows blue-white and is slightly less intense but reads cleaner in daylight. Both are non-radioactive and recharge from any light source.
Modern Super-LumiNova is photoluminescent — it charges from light and is completely non-radioactive and skin-safe. It replaced older radioactive materials like tritium paint and is the industry standard.
Yes. We can apply lume across the entire dial so the whole face charges and glows, not just the hands and markers. It is a striking effect popular on dive and tool watches.
Beyond the standard blue (BGW9) and green (C3), we can mix custom tints — including dual-color schemes where, for example, the hands glow one color and the markers another.
